Thickness Tolerance Information
Due to the natural structure of closed cell foam, slight thickness variation is normal and expected. This material is produced using a heat-expansion process that forms millions of sealed air cells. During manufacturing, rolling and transportation, some areas may compress more than others.
For this reason, measurements may range between 8mm and 10mm along the length of the sheet or roll. Once unrolled and installed, the foam relaxes and returns towards its intended thickness. This variation does not affect the acoustic or thermal performance of the product.
