SOShield ALL-IN-ONE Thermal & Acoustic Insulation is a premium 20mm self-adhesive marine insulation liner, ideal for narrowboats, canal boats, barges, houseboats, yachts and motorboats.

Designed to improve comfort on board, SOShield helps reduce heat loss, minimise unwanted noise and provide insulation for boat cabin walls, ceilings, hull sides and bulkheads.

The reinforced aluminium-fibre facing provides a durable protective layer, while the flexible insulation material makes fitting easier around curved and uneven surfaces commonly found inside boats.

SOShield is easy to install with its strong self-adhesive backing. Simply cut to size, peel off the protective paper and apply. No additional glue required.

Important Installation Information

Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from corrosion before applying. For steel narrowboats, suitable ventilation, moisture control and correctly sealed joints are important to help reduce condensation.

If installing near engines, exhaust systems or other high-temperature components, confirm the temperature suitability of the insulation and adhesive before fitting.
